How long have you been in business?
Founded in 1978, we have been rescuing abandoned animals for 33 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Primarily Primates, Inc. exists to rescue and rehabilitate animals (specializing in primates & birds) and provide permanent lifetime care.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I became involved in Primarily Primates, Inc. in 1986 when I discovered its existence here in SA.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Primarily Primates was the first sanctuary in the country set up to provide permanent life time care for primates abandoned from zoos, pet homes, and entertainment industry. This sanctuary was the first of its kind setting an example for others now in this field.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are located on 78 acres in the Texas Hill Country. There are always plans to expand if funding is available.

What type of payments do you accept?
Primarily Primates, Inc. can accept donations through our website or by calling us directly.

The sanctuary is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit managed by a board of directors. The daily operations are managed by the executive director and a staff of caregivers and volunteers.

Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
