Customer Reviews for G Nino Painting & Drywall

Our new home contractor hired Nino Painting and it was a disaster. They left overspray on the glass, window frames, interior hardware, and they used less than 2 coats (per bid) on half of the exterior and almost all of the interior. They also had a drywall arm of their company who did a terrible job. We had to repaint almost the entire interior in order to repair drywall defects and then paint from scratch. (General suggestion--if you are using a light color, count the coats--be sure you confirm there was a primer, a first coat, and then a second coat. Painters can easily get away with one coat if the color is light--and many will. Paint thickness can be measured using a tool called the Positector (ultrasound, like OBGyns use) but it is not cheap. But, when paying $20,000 for paint, its worth $1000 to be sure you got both coats, which we did not get.) Oh--and much of the exterior trim--cementboard--was painted wet, so it has subsequently peeled off in the months and now 2 years since they applied it.
